A left-footed central defender who is very strong in the air and quick in the tackle. Having been with the Whites for more than a decade now, he is a veteran of the academy. He arrived in 2004, joining the Under-10s.
He is an influential figure out on the pitch, and demonstrates this in each and every game - both with his club and with Spain's national youth teams, who he has won caps for.
