In 2014, as the cold autumn arrived in this small but great central European country, a group of Real Madrid fans felt keen about the chance to meet up and watch all of the Real Madrid games. After several attempts in different bars in the city and having realised the attendance success that there was, the idea arose of taking another step forward and creating the supporters' club of our champion team in Luxembourg.

Thanks to the excellent work of their first members, especially the current president, Javier Camón, and the vice-president, Pedro García, on 18 December of the same year, they managed to found "Pride and Courage", the Real Madrid supporters' club in the Grand Duchy. Pride, due to the feeling of satisfaction that we all get watching every game with Real Madrid, a club that we are proud to be a part of; and Courage, as we also identify with the passion and will to fight that our players show without surrendering until the very end of every game.

We currently have more than 100 members, a number that is gradually increasing with new applications from Madrid fans that do not want to miss the games of the side they carry in their heart, despite the remoteness.

In the short time that we have been together as a supporters' club, we have already represented and supported Real Madrid, having attended two important away games in the Champions League far from the Santiago Bernabéu. 50 members of "Pride and Courage" travelled from Luxembourg to watch the games against Schalke 04, on 18 February 2015 and Paris Saint Germain, on 21 October 2015. We were delighted and enormously grateful to the club for allowing us to enjoy both unforgettable events. We hope to be able to repeat experiences like this in order to keep supporting the Whites in action wherever they play.

It is also worth highlighting the attendance of our president at the official leaving event of a Real Madrid legend, Iker Casillas, held at the Presidential Box on 13 July 2015. There, Javier had the opportunity to meet Florentino Pérez in person and immortalise the moment with a photograph of both presidents together.

This season, apart from the occasional trip to the ground of an opponent in the Champions League, which there will surely be, we intend to organise a trip from Luxembourg to the Spanish capital in order to attend a game that Real Madrid will play at their stadium. The visit to the Bernabéu would be the perfect occasion for all of our members that have not yet enjoyed the experience and who want to see a game at the historic Real Madrid temple.

For anyone who is in Luxembourg and wants to enjoy a game involving the best side in the world, we invite you to watch it at Popkorn, the current venue of our supporters' club.
