Copa América winner plays part in club's fourth European Cup triumph
A Uruguayan international who checked in at Real Madrid at the age of 22 from Nacional de Montevideo. He spent the 1958/59 season at our club and lifted the fourth European Cup crown after seeing off Stade de Reims in the Stuttgart showpiece.
Prior to joining Real Madrid, he had lifted the 1956 Copa América with his national team. After turning out for Plus Ultra in the 1959/60 season, Ramos clocked up over a century of appearances in the Spanish top flight, representing Racing Santander and Elche.
