The participants at this school, which is run in partnership with the Cámara de Comercio de Ambato (Ambato Chamber of Commerce) belong to the Instituto Nacional de la Niñez y la Familia (National Institute for Children and the Family) and all hail from the less well off communities from within the regions of Ambato and Tungurahua.

The participants receive school reinforcement classes, medical checks, workshops on values and activities with the family and the community.

This school works in partnership with the Universidad SEK and the Colegio SEK (SEK Primary School) in Guayaquil. The participants in this project are boys and girls aged between 6 and 11 who hail from the Puerto Hondo and Chongón areas and whose families' incomes are low.

The activities take place in the facilities of the Colegio SEK in Guayaquil and in addition to the sporting activities, the participants receive school reinforcement classes, as well as IT and art classes.

The participants at this socio-sporting school are boys and girls who attend the state schools of Carcelén, to the north of Quito, which is home to the Universidad SEK campus, which is where the school is based.

The participants attend football training sessions twice a week and the sporting activities are complemented by school reinforcement classes, the provision of school equipment, afternoon snacks and vitamins, self-esteem workshops run by the psychology department of the Universidad SEK, talks with parents and psychopedagogy workshops.

This school aims to ensure that the brothers and sisters of children with cancer can establish friendships by playing with other children who are in similar circumstances.
• Promote the habit of practicing sport amongst boys and girls indirectly affected by cancer.
• Avoid social problems such as child maltreatment, sexual abuse or the domestic accidents caused as a result of the neglect of the brothers/sisters of the children with cancer.  
• Promote education on values.
•Educate the family of the children with cancer about the effects that cancer has on the child who suffers from it and on the family.  
• Reduce bullying levels and discrimination in at least 10 schools by integrating children in the practice of sport.
