DESCRIPCION

This School currently caters for boys and girls from families with a very low socio economical level from the Gonzalez Catán area. The children, who are organized in categories, take part in sports twice a week at the Obra del Padre Mario sports facilities where they are led by qualified monitors. They take part in football and basketball.

They take part in internal tournaments as well as games against other sporting schools and colleges. The Obra del Padre Mario organise sporting parties for families of the participant, to encourage the parents’ participation in the School’s activities. Along with the sporting activities, the children receive help with their studies (extra classes, grants etc.) and other services which help them develop personally.
