The Rayo Blanco Real Poña began to gestate in the spring of 2009. A group of friends, followers of Real Madrid, eating in the Mesnada known as “Los Blancos”, the beginning of the annual parade of ‘Moors and Christians’ were excited.  Between dish and dish, they commented how good it would be to have a Real Madrid player with a social place to meet, to see its Real Madrid. Poles later, that project came true. Specifically on Friday, September 18, we opened the Real Madrid Ray ‘El Rayo Blanco’, with the participation of the Abanilleros Real Madrid players, local entities and the sponsoring of former Real Madrid player, Ángel Pérez García and the journalist Tomas Roncero. La Peña is the maximum reference of Real Madrid in Abanilla, growing in acceptance and number of partners. Everyone wants to meet the rock and participate in the various activities that each season performs. We can highlight, among others, the Travel Organization to see Real Madrid, free food on the day of the partner, sale of Christmas lottery, football game with rocks in the region and draw of gifts in all the matches of Madrid. We also receive every year, the visit of former Real Madrid players for our anniversary, such as Paco Bonet, Antonio Ruiz, Ángel Pérez García and José Fernando Rovira. While it is undeniable that football is the catalyst and the main reason for this association, it is our desire that is not the only transmitting vehicle in the daily life of the rock. We want this to be a meeting point for opinions, gatherings, exhibition of ideas and projects. Hala Madrid !!!
