Real Madrid kick-off their Champions League campaign by hosting Stuttgart at the Santiago Bernabeu
The Whites face the German team for the first time in European competition (Tuesday, 17 September, 9:00pm CEST).

Real Madrid debut in the Champions League 2024-25 at the Santiago Bernabéu against Stuttgart. The champions kick off their title defence on Tuesday 17 September, at 9:00pm CEST, against an opponent they have never faced in European competition.
There are also no precedents for the madridistas against Lille and Brest (away) or against Salzburg, who will visit the Bernabéu on matchday seven. To complete this first phase of the competition, Ancelotti ‘s side will face old acquaintances such as Borussia Dortmund, opponents in the final of the Decimoquinta; Liverpool, opponents in the finals of the Decimocuarta and Decimotercera; Milan, winners of seven European Cups, and Atalanta, who we last faced on 14 August in the final of the European Super Cup.
