Pirri, Real Madrid honorary club president, Solari and San José take part in World ALS Day
All three attended an event to raise awareness of the condition at the Hospital Enfermera Isabel Zendal.
José Martínez Pirri, Real Madrid honorary club president, Santiago Solari and Isidoro San José, club legends, took part in an event to mark World ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) Day, which is held every 21 June. All three represented Real Madrid at the open day to raise awareness of the condition, which took place at the Special Day Care Centre for ALS sufferers at Hospital Enfermera Isabel Zendal.
Also present at the event were Paco Pérez Durán, a Real Madrid youth team player in the early 1980s who currently suffers from ALS; Fátima Matute, Regional Minister of Health of the Comunidad de Madrid; and Javier Bermejo, former Atlético Madrid player.
