More than 1,600 children taking part in the Foundation's clinics in Jerusalem
The children benefit from scholarships thanks to a partnership with KULNA, Royal Jerusalem Football Club and the support of the Ministry of Regional Cooperation and the Jerusalem City Council.
Over the coming weeks, more than 1,600 boys and girls will enjoy learning football and values at Real Madrid Foundation's third edition of educational clinics in Jerusalem. Over 450 youngsters at each location will receive a scholarship for football training and learn values with coaches from the Real Madrid Foundation. This initiative is made possible thanks to KULNA, Royal Jerusalem Football Club and the support of the Ministry of Regional Cooperation and the Jerusalem City Council.
An integration tool
'Jerusalem is a meeting point of cultures and the perfect place for sport to become a common and universal language, a tool to educate in values and peace,' said Emilio Butragueño during the presentation which took place in July in Madrid.
Children of different ethnicities unite in this clinic in a peaceful space thanks to their passion for football. As children from Palestine, Israel, Morocco, Jordan and other Arabic countries take part, sport becomes a tool for integration.
