Real Madrid president, Florentino Pérez, and Jesús Ducay, president of the Sananda Foundation, signed a renewal of the collaboration agreement at Real Madrid City for the socio-sports school in Kapsabet (Kenya), which is run with the support of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception.

The partnership, which continues for the fifth consecutive year, has already helped more than 250 children between 5 and 15 years of age, by preparing them for their integration into society through sport.

Beneficiaries
The socio-sports school targets children in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion in an area severely affected by a range of problems such as HIV, unemployment, lack of schooling, drugs, early marriage, teenage pregnancy and delinquency. Through education in the values of sport, like motivation for effort, teamwork and respect for the environment, the beneficiaries receive comprehensive training. They also enjoy psychosocial support, health care and nutritional support for the children with the support of the Sananda Foundation and the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception.
