Chus Mateo: "We need everyone's input and that's what we're getting"
"We were very generous in attack and defence," Campazzo said after the win over Monaco.

Chus Mateo and Campazzo analysed Real Madrid's victory over Monaco at the WiZink Center. The coach expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance: "We have to take it step by step and understand where we're going. What's clear is clear, and the players know it: we have to defend, share the ball and understand that we have to rebound better than the opposing team. We have to be prepared, when we're defending well, to close it down with the rebound. By sharing the ball better in attack and being united we find better shots. Being more aggressive and getting into the paint we also get more free throws... And we have also understood both speeds, when to run and when to stop. That's the way forward, but above all because of the work of each and every one of us. Everyone contributes and that's what we have to understand."
"We need everyone's energy. With the schedule and playing two competitions (Liga and Euroleague), and the demands that playing every two days signifies, it's difficult for normal human beings to face them the way these guys face them. They're superheroes, workhorses who don't stop training to be at the top of their game every day. We need that energy and often that energy comes from rotations. If we lower that energy in a double week like this we won't have a chance. We need everyone's input and that's what we're getting."
League action
"We have one game left before Christmas and are focused on winning. We will hopefully be at our best against Valencia Basket on Sunday."
Campazzo: "We have to build from here"
"It's another small step. The other day we made a positive step, today another one and we have to build from there. We have to have our feet on the ground, and we must have a humble and hard-working mentality. I think the path we wanted to take is to be very generous in attack and defence. Everyone who came on gave their all against a team that can kill you off one-on-one. We played good defence and made them take bad shots. In offence, we moved the ball well and we were effective."
Mentality
"We got into the game plan. We could have won or lost, but we focused on our defence throughout. It was a good test today. In attack, we're very dangerous and if we're generous good things always happen. We knew we were going to take the best shot."
