Chus Mateo: “It was a tough game but we reacted in time”

Chus Mateo analysed Real Madrid’s victory away against Coviran Granada on matchday 14 of the Liga Endesa. The coach had the following to say: “It was a tough game for us, we struggled to attack their defence. I value their performance very highly because they pushed us to the brink of defeat. We started by playing very much on the perimeter and not getting into the paint very often. We defended very poorly, although in the second half we reduced their percentages.”
“Then we turned things around and won in a different way, by looking for other resources. We were more aggressive from the middle of the third quarter and we reacted in time. There were other players who stepped up.”
