Llull: “We have to stay focused to keep winning at home”
“Baxi Manresa are tough opponents, but hopefully we can perform well and break that record for consecutive wins,” added the club captain.
Sergio Llull spoke to Realmadrid TV and discussed the game against Baxi Manresa at the Movistar Arena on matchday four of the Liga Endesa (Sunday, 7pm CET). “Baxi Manresa are tough opponents. They always set many traps in defence and in attack they like to run and play at a high tempo. We'll have to be really focused and start the match well to show them that we want to keep winning at home.”
“In training, we can improve our connection and chemistry, but it's in matches where you put everything you train into practice. We have to try to have fewer breakdowns and make sure those breakdowns are shorter so that we can produce a complete, solid performance and get the win.”
One win away from achieving record of most consecutive league victories
“It's a nice statistic and it means that we're doing things right at home and that our fans are helping us to win. Hopefully, on Sunday, we can produce a great performance, get the win and break that record.”
The demands of the fixture calendar
“We have a large squad, with top-quality players in every position. The schedule is demanding, but we enjoy playing matches and next week we will face three more.”
