News | 24/11/2018 | Alberto NavarroThe Whites will be looking to build on the four-game winning streak they put together prior to the international break (1pm CET kick-off).
The European champions' target couldn't be any clearer: continue the fine form they demonstrated before the international break. The team are riding a four-game winning streak, with three of these victories having come on the road: against Melilla, Viktoria Plzen and Celta. The other triumph saw the madridistas get the better of Valladolid.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Santiago Solari commented, "I'm expecting a high-intensity match and a fiercely fought contest because Eibar press really hard and know exactly what their game is all about”. The Real Madrid boss is without the injured Nacho, Sergio Reguilón and Casemiro. However, Marcelo, Dani Carvajal and Raphaël Varane are all back and in contention.
Five points above drop zone
Heading into this round of fixtures, Éibar find themselves five points clear of the relegation spots. They have lost two of their six home league games so far this term. The hosts overcame Alavés, Leganés and Real Sociedad, played out a draw with Athletic and were beaten by Sevilla and Huesca on home turf. Charles (three), Joan Jordán and Sergi Enrich (two apiece) have claimed seven of the 12 goals Éibar have scored this season.
