The youth-team graduate has made 141 first-team appearances.

Today sees Dani Carvajal celebrate his 25th birthday. The wing-back, who was born on 11 January 1992 in Leganés (Madrid), is now into his fourth season with the Real Madrid first team and recently lifted the second Club World Cup title of his career. In addition to these two pieces of silverware, he has two Champions League titles, two UEFA Super Cups and a Copa del Rey crown to his name.

A full Spanish international, Carvajal joined the Whites' academy in 2002, initially turning out for the Alevín B side. After working his way up the ranks, he spent one year with Bayer Leverkusen, before returning to Real Madrid in the summer of 2013. He has racked up 141 appearances to date, which have yielded four goals, the latest of which secured victory as he claimed the second UEFA Super Cup of his career.
