There are few madridistas quite as pure as Marcos Llorente. Son of Paco Llorente, great-nephew of Paco Gento and grandson of Ramón Moreno Grosso. In 2008, he arrived at Real Madrid as part of the Under-14s, adding to his family's rich history within the club.
Marcos Llorente plays as a central midfielder, he is sharp and always well positioned. Gifted both at gaining possession and creating play, he first played in LaLiga in the 2016/17 season with Alavés. Due to his stellar performances, he was included in the LaLiga breakthrough team on uefa.com.
His official Real Madrid debut came in October 2015, in a LaLiga win over Levante at the Bernabéu. He previously played in a 2014 preseason friendly against Inter Milan. He currently plays for the Spanish Under-21 side.
