Real Madrid are very close to becoming LaLiga champions. They took the first step by beating Cádiz at the Santiago BernabéuBrahimBellingham and Joselu all got on the scoresheet to seal the win and now it's time for the second step towards the title. If Barcelona fail to take all three points against Girona this evening, our team will win its 36th LaLiga title.

Ancelotti made rotations and among the starters against Cádiz was Courtois, who returned 268 days after being injured and was given an emotional ovation by the Bernabéu. On the pitch, our team gave the first scare early on with a Fran García cross that Joselu missed by inches. Shortly afterwards, Militão tried his luck with a right-footed shot from a long way out, but Ledesma managed to keep it out (11').

Madrid's absolute dominance
Ancelotti's men were the masters of possession, but Cádiz had a chance on the half-hour mark when Sobrino's shot in the box was cleared off the line by NachoMadrid pushed forward even more after the break, which had the expected effect. First with a left-footed free-kick from Güler, which was saved by Ledesma. The goalkeeper was again the centre of attention in the next move when he made a good save from Carvajal's long-range free-kick.

It was then that Courtois pulled off one of his trademark saves to beat Chris Ramos in a one-on-one. That spurred our team on and Brahim was there to prove it. He received a ball from Modrić with his back to him on the corner of the box, turned  and his right-footed shot ended up in the top left-hand corner of Cadiz's net. From then on, the dominance was even more evident and so came the 2-0 lead. Bellingham, who had just come on for Güler, stole in the opposition half. After combining with Modrić and Brahim, he took advantage of a low cross from the Malagueño to beat Ledesma with his right foot and score his 18th LaLiga goal.

Nacho's great move and Joselu's goal
Real Madrid wanted more and played constantly in Cadiz's half. Militão came very close to increasing the deficit with a header from a Vini Jr. cross, but Ledesma kept out the goal (83'). Six minutes later, the keeper denied another dangerous chance when he cleared Modrić's left-footed shot from the edge of the area. It was not to be and in stoppage time Nacho made an impressive run from his own area, combined with Vini Jr., got past the defender and laid it off for Joselu, who made it 3-0. Now we have to wait to become LaLiga champions.
