Fran García: "Wednesday is like a final and the team knows that we have to continue in the same vein"
"I'm sure great things are to come," the defender added.
Fran García played the entire game against Cádiz at the Santiago Bernabéu. The full-back spoke to Realmadrid TV afterwards and said: "It was a complicated game, in which we had to get the three points in front of our fans and be strong, as we've been doing all year. It's an important victory."
Connection with the fans
"It's something we've been experiencing since we were kids. To be able to be here and enjoy it in front of our fans is special. And it's very nice to experience it from the inside."
Is there much excitement?
"A lot. You've seen it all year. It has to be passed on from one team-mate to the next. When we're at home and away, when a lot of people come, it's important."
Defensive solidity
"We know that if we keep a clean sheet we have a great chance of getting the three points. I don't think it's just the work of the defensive line, it starts with the forwards, goes through the midfield and ends with us and the goalkeeper. It's a job for everyone. That is reflected in the approach and the our game. I'm happy with those 21 clean sheets, let's hope there are more to come."

"I'm happy to keep helping the team and trying to keep growing and sharing a dressing room with such great people as we have here. It's unbelievable."
