62 years since the 8th Spanish Basketball Cup win

Real Madrid won the Spanish Cup in for the eighth time 62 years ago. Pedro Ferrándiz's team beat Estudiantes 80-66 in the final in Barcelona. Emiliano Rodríguez (21 points), Lorenzo Alocén (17) and Carlos Sevillano (17) top scored in a game that our team dominated by 27 points at half-time.
The eight highest-ranked teams in the National League played in the Cup tournament. Real Madrid beat Club Agromán 88-64 in the quarter-finals and Picadero 76-55 in the semi-finals. This win was our team's third consecutive trophy after the 1960 and 1961 Cups.
