King Felipe VI receives cup winners
Club president, Florentino Pérez, accompanied the Madrid delegation, who posed at the Zarzuela palace with the monarch and the trophy won in Málaga.
King Felipe VI received at the Zarzuela Palace the Real Madrid basketball team, who on 18 February lifted the club’s 29th Copa del Rey trophy. Club president, Florentino Pérez, members of the Board of Directors, players and coaching staff posed with the king and the trophy they won in the final in Malaga against Barça. The event was also attended by José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, president of the High Council for Sports. The squad presented the King with a personalised jersey and a replica of the Copa del Rey.
