The Realmadrid Foundation signed an agreement with the Fundacion Gol, Hogar de Niños Alalay, Asociacion Hechos and Banco Mercantil de Santa Cruz to create six new academies in Bolivia, namely in the cities of La Paz, El Alto and Santa Cruz. They will have a total 1,250 children in risk of social exclusion or discrimination who that are in precarious financial situations.
Three academies will be opened with the help of Fundacion Gol, one in the municipal sports ground of Cotoca, and two in Santa Cruz de la Sierra for 650 children. Two more academies for 450 children will be created with the help of Hogar de Niños Alalay at the Campo Deportivo Bajo Seguencoma (which will have a large number of children from Alalay shelters) and at the Campo Deportivo Kala Kalita, which is aimed at children who come from highly violent areas or who have been victims of domestic violence.
Another academy will be opened with both Fundacion Gol and Hogar de Niños Alalay in El Alto for 150 children aged between 5 and 17. It will be financed by the Banco Mercantil Santa Cruz and will be located in the sports grounds owned by City Hall.
