The Realmadrid Foundation donated sports material to its associate in Haiti, NGO Acoger y Compartir, during the inauguration of a water treatment plant in the Pandiassou-Hinche academy. The act ended with a party that included a football match.
The Foundation continues to work towards the reconstruction of the country following the earthquake that hit it over two years ago. It collaborates in projects with Acoger y Compartir, whose priorities are healthcare and education.
The outbreak of cholera at the Pandiassou-Hinche academy prompted the construction of the water treatment plant, which will provide clean water for 300 children and their families.
