The Realmadrid Foundation, Obra Social La Caixa and FC Barcelona's foundation will send 154,335 euros collected in a joint campaign to UNICEF, UNHCR and FAO projects fighting hunger in the Horn of Africa. Over 10,000 people, of which most are children, will benefit from this programme.

Three agreements were signed today to designate equal parts to each of the three organisations by Realmadrid Foundation Executive Vice President Enrique Sanchez, Executive Director of Obra Social La Caixa Jaime Lanaspa, Director General of Fundacion Privada Futbol Club Barcelona Josep Cortada, UNICEF Spain Executive Director Paloma Escudero, Director General of the UNHCR Spanish Committee Maria Angeles Siemens, and FAO spokesperson Beatriz Beeckmans.
