Marcelo is confident the team can win the league title, and he doesn’t mind whether it happens with him playing as a left-back or winger.

“No one wants to let him dribble past them which is why he receives so many knocks. The crowd also influence by egging players on.”

Fouls on himself (who receives the most in La Liga):
“Perhaps it is because they don’t want me to dribble past them.”

Left-back or winger:
“I am happy playing in either position because I feel like I am important to the team and that I am helping. I can play either position, but I am naturally a left-back.”

Higuain-Cristiano duo:
“Having two scoring machines like Higuain and Cristiano is important. We try to help the team as much as possible. The defense also score on occasion (laughs).  We hope they maintain their form. We are working hard and will do whatever it takes to win the league.”

Kaka & Benzema:
“Benzema  is training well. There is no need to say how much of a help he can be for Real Madrid. Kaka is also recovering favorably. I hope he is healthy soon.”
