You’ll face Gescrap BB, a tough rival…

They are a very good team with solid shooters. They play a very physical game and have many former Madridistas on their roster. They always play better against us than against other teams. We’ll have to be tight in defence and play like we did against Siena. We cannot allow them to score easy shots.

Your options to reach the Euroleague playoffs are still intact…

We had a bad day against Siena. We didn’t defend well and our shots lacked confidence. We dropped many points that way, but we’ll have to qualify for the quarterfinals despite that defeat. You never know what may happen against CSKA Moscow and Galatasaray… Every clash will be complicated.

You’ve been very strong at home so far…

I believe the Palacio de los Deportes is the perfect venue to play basketball. Our fans pressurise and it makes it easier for us to have them so close. They always stand out at the Palacio and it’s always better to play at a packed venue.

You’re playing more this season…

I feel much better this season. I’m playing more and the coach has confidence in me. We played a good game against a solid opponent in Fuenlabrada, where the crowd gives all its support and makes a lot of noise. That victory did us a lot of good and boosted our confidence, but our game against them in the Copa del Rey will also be tough.

How do you feel on the team?

I feel very much at ease now, but I always want to achieve more and I’m making a great effort so that the coach has more confidence in me and I get to play more. I hope things turn out well.

What are your objectives at Real Madrid?

My personal goal is to improve day by day and to score more points. My objective on the team is to reach every final.
