Only two days after their most recent Euroleague game, Real Madrid return to ACB action on Saturday against Power Electronics Valencia at La Fonteta, where the hosts have been perfect all season long.

Los Blancos currently sit third in the ACB standings with 19 wins and 5 losses. After squeeking out a win against Xacobeo Blu: Sens last weekend, they hope to earn another victory that will give them some breathing room from the closest pursuer, Power Electronics Valencia, who have lost three more games than the Madidistas.

Morale at Valencia is sky high after earning a trip to the Eurocup quarterfinals earlier this week with a 91-81 win against Unics Kazan. Real Madrid, meanwhile, still cannot count on Louis Bullock, who is out with a sprained right knee, or Van den Spiegel.

Valencia have been unstoppable at home this season, where they are undefeated in ACB action and have had big wins against Regal FC Barcelona andl Caja Laboral. But history is on Real Madrid's side as they have won 30 of the 45 games played against Saturday's hosts. Their last meeting ended in a 77-66 win for the Madridistas, who held the upper hand from start to finish.

Statistically speaking, Valencia and Madrid are on relatively equal playing fields. Both teams put major emphasis on defensive rebounds. Victor Claver leads Valencia with an average of 4.33 rpg, but the team's biggest threat is Rafa Martinez, who is averaging 14.8 performance index points per game and scores 14 ppg.
