With half their homework already taken care of, Real Madrid basketball heads into action on Thursday night hoping for a win against Maccabi Electra that will clinch the top seed in Group F. Louis Bullock is out of action, but his absence doesn’t put a damper on Vistalegre’s hopes of earning home court advantage in the quarterfinals.
With a berth in the quarterfinals already in their pockets, Real Madrid host Maccabi Electra at Vistalegre Arena on Thursday in a battle for the top seed in Group F and home court advantage in the next round.

All Real Madrid need to finish as a top seed is defeat Maccabi, but whoever the Whites play next hinges on the outcome of Thursday’s game. What is known is that their next opponent will be either Regal FC Barcelona, Partizan or Maroussi.
The Whites are in excellent shape heading into the game having won several key showdowns in recent weeks, including a huge road win against Efes Pilsen. The only bad news out of the Madridista camp is the absence of Louis Bullock, who has a sprained right knee.
Maccabi arrive in Madrid having played solid Top 16 basketball on their home court, where they won all three games played there. They have yet to earn a road win in this round, however. Alan Anderson earned MVP honors in the first go-round against Real Madrid and will look to put on a repeat performance in Vistalegre Arena.
