The first team returned to training in Real Madrid City. After the rest day following last Tuesday’s match against Borussia Dortmund, the Whites started preparing today for this Sunday’s game against Levante in the city of Valencia. The eight outfielders who had the most play time against the German team carried out a light recovery session, while the rest of the players trained at a higher intensity. Both Coentrão, who joined the group, and Llorente, the acadamy player that Mourinho had in the training session, were in this second group.
The team trained on Real Madrid City fields 1 and 2 to start preparing for this Sunday’s game against Levante in the city of Valencia (9:30 p.m., Canal + 1). José Mourinho and his coaching staff divided the Whites into three training groups. In the first group were the eight outfielders who had the most play time against Borussia Dortmund. Ramos, Pepe, Varane, Arbeloa, Xabi Alonso, Cristiano Ronaldo, Di María, and Özil carried out a light recovery session with the coaching assistant Rui Faria.
The remaining outfielders that the Portuguese coach had in the training session were in the second group, which was larger and worked at a higher level of intensity. Among them were Coentrão, who joined the group, and Llorente, Real Madrid C right back. Casillas, Adán, and Jesús had specific training under the direction of the goalkeeper trainer Silvino Louro.
