Real Madrid went back to work in Valdebebas and began to prepare for the first match of the Spanish Super Cup in which they'll go up against Barcelona in the Camp Nou (22:30, TVE 1). José Mourinho and his coaching staff arranged a training session in which the Whites players were divided into three groups.
The first group was of the outfield players from the starting line-up in the Liga debut against Valencia, with the exception of Pepe who didn't go out on the pitch. Arbeloa, Cristiano Ronaldo, Coentrão, Özil, Di María, Lass, Higuaín, Sergio Ramos and Xabi Lonso carried out a light recovery session led by Rui Faria, Mourinho's assistant coach.
In the second group, more numerous and including the academy player Nacho, the rest of the outfield players that the Portuguese coach worked with in the training session did more rigorous exercise. Lastly, Casillas, Adán and Jesús worked alongside goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro.
