Real Madrid beat Milan and played a great game and Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the stand out players for Real Madrid in scoring two goals. The forward praised the great team display that get better every time: "We are preparing for the season that is about to start and the team played perfectly today, both the first and second teams. We are working hard and still have a long way to go, but we've been together over two years and each time we play things get better".

Ronaldo is aware that the preparation will be key to start the official competition on form. "We want to keep improving because it will be a long season. These victories and goals are good to gain confidence. What we all want is to start the season in the best way. We are working well together and we want to start the league on form" said the Portuguese.

Finally, Cristiano was full of praise for Kaká: "For me his is one of the best players in the world, and all the best players have to be at Real Madrid. Whether he will or will not is a decision he has to take himself, but I think he will stay".
