The Real Madrid coach followed a similar format for the previous days with a greater emphasis on fitness in during the morning and on tactics in the afternoon. The morning training started with the usual stretches and warm-ups before completing different fitness and ball control exercises, before finishing with a reduced-pitch practice match where Fabinho’s goal for the team playing in blue bibs was the difference in the match that finished 2-1. The main news was the inclusion of the youth academy’s Belima, who joined with the other players also produced by the factory that had already been training with Mourinho since the start of pre-season. The Argentine Ángel Di María trained in the gym and Ricardo Carvalho, with permission of the club, did not train.

During the afternoon, the Whites completed a tactical and physical session that latest an hour and a half. That session ended a fifth day of work for the group managed by Mourinho. Real Madrid will continue tomorrow morning at 10:00 in Valdebebas with a training session that will be open to the press.
