Including yesterday’s match, the Portuguese coach has played in matchday one of the Group Stage on ten occasions and has amassed seven wins and three draws. With Real Madrid his record is even more devastating: three wins in as many matches, with six goals scored and two conceded.
Since his debut with Porto in the 2003/04 Champions League, José Mourinho has had a ten match unbeaten streak in match day one of the Group Stage. His record with Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid is seven wins, three draws, 16 goals scored and only four conceded.
