Arbeloa and Ramos travelled to Catar to face Uruguay with the Spanish national team. The latter played the whole game, while the former didn't get out on the green in the national team's triumph at Doha's Khalifa Stadium (3-1).

The Real Madrid player assisted Nikica Jelavic for their team's third goal.
