With 46 consecutive league matches, Cristiano Ronaldo is the First Division footballer with the longest current streak of matches played in the competition. The Portuguese has not missed any league matches since 7th May 7 2011, when he scored four goals in the 6-2 win against Sevilla. In this period of time he has scored 59 goals in the championship.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the only player that Mourinho last season used in every league match. With the last four matches of the 2010-11 season and the four first matches of this season, the Whites’ forward has played in 46 consecutive league matches. A much higher figure than other Real Madrid squad members, as the next player in the list is Benzema, who has not missed any of the last 17 league matches.

Also, Cristiano Ronaldo is the player who has scored the most goals in the first division in the last 46 matches. It started with an amazing performance at the Sánchez Pizjuán in which he scored four goals, and continued with more memorable matches with eight hat-tricks. In total 59 goals against Messi’s 56, who is the second in the list of scorers during the same period.
