With the win against Manchester City, Real Madrid made it to 100 wins since the Champions League began in 1992. The Whites are the first club to reach the milestone in the history of the competition in this format. They have played 176 matches, scored 351 goals and conceded 196.
The goals scored by Marcelo, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo against Manchester City helped Real Madrid to get their 100th win in the Champions League. The Whites are the first club to reach this figure, ahead of Manchester United and Barcelona, who started the season on 98 and 97 wins respectively.
Real Madrid started the competition in this format for the 17th time against the English team, where they are also the highest scoring team with 351 goals. As with the number of victories, the Red Devils and Barça are immediately behind them in the rankings. With three titles since 1992, Real Madrid are level with Barcelona and Milan as the most successful team in the Champions League.
