Spain is counting off the wins in the U-20 World Cup which is being held in Turkey. After easily beating the USA in their opening match (4-1), the Spain team kept up their winning streak with three more points against Ghana (1-0). Derik played the whole match, while Jesé, who was also in the starting-eleven, was decisive, scoring the only goal of the match in the 13th minute. The team, managed by Lopetegui, is clear at the top of the group and has already qualified for the last-16.

The Madrid player Jesé was decisive in the difficult win over Ghana, scoring the only goal of the game in the 13th minute. The Madrid forward, who was replaced by Campaña in the 54th minute, is on three goals and is joint leading scorer in the competition, along with the Nigeria player Ajagun and the Portugal player Bruma. Derik played the whole match, while Llorente and Rubén Yañez did not take to the pitch.
