Real Madrid Castilla and Real Madrid C gave the Real Madrid fans their best wishes to see off this year in the best possible way and start 2013 with a whole host of successes. Toril and Jose Manuel Diaz's men hope to begin a new cycle marked by victories to remain in their respective leagues. Juanfran and Tomas Mejias on behalf of Castilla, and Alvaro Lopez, Aguza and Kamal on behalf of the second reserve team wish all the Real Madrid fans the best of health and success.
Both Real Madrid reserve teams are celebrating Christmas yet again but this year, they find themselves in different leagues. After gaining promotion to the Liga Adelante and the Segunda Division B, both the men coached by Alberto Toril and those led by Jose Manuel Diaz are coming to the end of a year which has been full of success and are hopeful that 2013 will bring them continued success.
Juanfran was one of the most resolute. The captain wants a new year packed with wins: “I would like to wish you a merry Christmas and am hopeful that 2013 will bring the whole Real Madrid family a lot of success”. The goalkeeper Mejias thanked the fans for their affection: “On behalf of the whole squad, all my team mates and the back room staff, I would like to wish you a merry Christmas and ask that you continue to support us in 2013 like you have done in 2012".
With respect to Real Madrid C, it ends the year in 7th position of group I of Segunda B. One of the captains, Alvaro Lopez, wished them all the best for 2013: “On behalf of the youth team, I would like to wish you a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2013”. As for Aguza, he added: “From the Factory we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and I hope that the new year brings us good results like in 2012”. Lastly, Kamal stated “We would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2013".
