After months of not being defeated at home, Castilla lost for the first time at the Di Stéfano stadium in La Liga Adelante. It was a match the Whites started off winning, but Sabadell turned things around on the scoreboard during the second half and Toril's players didn't have time to make a comeback. "At home, a match can’t go like that for us. There were some really bad moments for us, when they scored three goals and when we wanted to get our act together, it was too late. We have to learn from this", said Óscar Plano.
Castilla spoilt its unbroken record for not having been defeated at home for nine months. Juanfran and Jesé began the Whites' victory in the first half, but Sabadell reacted during a "second half, from which lessons must be learnt. "We have to keep on looking forward and not hang our heads in shame. At home, a match can’t go like that for us. There were some really bad moments for us, when they scored three goals and when we wanted to get our act together, it was too late. We have to learn from this", said Óscar Plano.
Far from coming crashing down, the Real Madrid striker explained that the offence and defence will be improved thanks to this match and they will continue to clock up victories in the competition: "We have to think about the next match against Guadalajara, which is a very important away match for us, and we want to get the three points", he concluded.
