Real Madrid C ‘s captain, Álvaro López, starred in this week's Realmadrid TV program La Fábrica (The Factory), in which he analysed the team's good start, his time with the Whites and the aims for this season. The Whites are looking forward to their visit to Zamora with a lot of enthusiasm and confidence after the victory at home against Leganes and hope to get the three points to put them into the playoff positions: "Zamora have started the championship poorly, but they will still be at tough opponent at their ground. It is always difficult to win away and there to room relax even a little bit. It will be a tough match, we need to go there to get the win."

A draw and a win is what José Manuel Díaz’s team have managed in the opening matches in the league after going up from the Third Division to the Second Division B. "We started well and we are looking forward to Sunday to be able to play another match. The club has given us the opportunity to be in Second Division B this year and now we are giving everything and we're doing well" said Álvaro López. The victory against Leganes gave them their first three points at home in front of their fans in a match in which the subsidiary had to suffer all the way to the end. "For the next match we must improve our efficiency in front of goal because it could cost us points. In this division we know that there are no easy matches and we will have to fight to the end. The important thing is getting the three points and making sure that we don’t repeat any mistakes that we made next week " said Real Madrid C’s captain.

With the four points scored in the first two match days, José Manuel Díaz’s players are fifth in the table: "Now perhaps it is not the most important thing, but it is a good start. We had a good pre-season and we aim to get a number of points in the first few matches and we are going well". Álvaro López has played for all of his life at the club and has already fulfilled one of his dreams: to play for the first team. He did it during the pre-season against Real Oviedo in the Carlos Tartiere: "For an academy player it is a dream come true. I have spent almost ten years at the club and you always dream of playing with the first team."

Real Madrid C’s captain is in his third season under José Manuel Díaz and takes his responsibilities seriously: "I help my teammates and help the new additions to the squad adapt and try to create a good group atmosphere which helps us to achieve our goals throughout the year." A new team made from "the same base as last year, but with some changes. The u-18s and the new signings have contributed a lot and have adapted quickly. Now we have to push on." The Whites’ midfielder made clear the common goal in all of the club’s teams: "At Real Madrid we must always look upwards and finish as high as possible. Madrid values are to go out and fight to the end and win every match. I have learned a lot at this club and have developed as a player and a person."

Next week Zamora await, the bottom of the division after failing to score any points so far, but López knows it is an important factor to keep in mind: "They have started the tournament poorly, but they will still be at tough opponent at their ground. It is always difficult to win away and there to room relax even a little bit. It will be a tough match, we need to go there to get the win."
