Alberto Toril's pupils will test their strength tomorrow against Alcorcón (20:00 horas, Realmadrid TV and Marca TV), a team which almost got to the First Division. It will be one of the most important tests of this season for Real Madrid, who have two matches left before beginning la Liga Adelante. Real Madrid Castilla are placing their hopes in Alfredo Di Stéfano to keep up the good results of the training matches, where they never failed to win.
Real Madrid's fifth match of the pre-season will be indicative of how the official competition will kick off. Up to now, their pre-season has been almost impeccable, beating Getafe B, Albacete and Gimnástica de Torrelavega, and drawing with Guadalajara. This time they will play against Alcorcón, who will be one of the rivals to beat in la Liga Adelante after Valladolid stopped them from moving up to the First Division in a record season.
The Whites have breezed through four matches and face the final stretch of training matches before the beginning of El Madrigal against Villareal. With the players who had been following Mourinho's orders at the beginning of the preseason already integrated into Toril's team, the Real Madrid players will start to believe in their power to score once again, particularly in that of Óscar Plano who, with three goals under his belt, is the "pichichi", to crush the experienced Alcorcón who has players such as Nagore, Ángel, Sales and Quini.
