Alberto Toril highlighted the great start that his team made in their second pre-season test and said that they deserved more: "We had a very good first half even if the half-time score didn’t show that". Castilla’s coach said they could come away from the match knowing that they are on track following the first half performance, which he described as "very good even if the half-time score didn’t show that." Toril believes that it is team is on the right path if they want to compete at their best: "This is a small step. We will keep improving our fitness and overall level as a group as well. We will improve. The matches that we have throughout the week will help us to improve as a team. I want is that we are ready when the first league match comes around".
For the Real Madrid coach, these sorts of matches are a good way for the team to prepare for a competition as tough as the Second Division A: "It was a match played at high intensity and of high quality because ultimately, we are two teams that we will be in the Second Division. I think we adapted well throughout the match. During the first half we were the best team and we have to try to maintain the intensity that we showed for longer."
