For you, this has been a summer that has combined work and relaxation ... Do you want to get back into it now?

After my holidays and one month with the Azerbaijan national team I'm very happy to be here in Madrid again to start training for this season. There are some new faces and I have wanted to see them and, above all, I’m eager to get myself ready to play.

You've already seen some teammates in the changing room. How was the reception? Because you were a little early weren’t you?

They started making fun of me and came to check my watch because I still have the different time zone (laughs). When they arrived they all came and greeted me like greeting a friend. The truth is I am very happy to be here.

You come after playing in the European qualifiers and the team has already been training for a few weeks have won every game they have played ... Do you will struggle to get into the rhythm?

I do not think so. Many of the players are the same as last year. I think I'll get into the team and we'll get along fine. In addition, I also know the other two players, Slaughter and Draper, so do not think it takes a lot to get up to speed.

Rudy is also back...there’s a lot of competition at guard this year.

Yes, the truth is that there is a lot of competition. Rudy is a very good signing for us. Let's see what happens, I think we have a very good team, like last year, and we will certainly keep to growing.

The Super Cup, which you didn’t manage to win last year, is just around the corner. What do you think will happen this year?

I hope that the same does not happen this year. I think we have more experienced team than last year, which played the finals of the Copa del Rey and the ACB last year ... We are more prepared to play these kinds of games.
