Laso is building his team up. Today some basic pieces will join. After a week below the minimum, almost the entire Real Madrid team will train tomorrow with the arrival of the Olympic medallists Reyes, Llull, Rudy and Rodríguez, who won a silver medal against the U.S.A. The Lithuanian player Martynas Pocius, who played in the Lithuanian national team in London's Olympic Games, will also join the team.
After a schedule which hasn't given them one bit of respite throughout the summer and after only a fortnight of holidays, Real Madrid's international basketball players come back to work today after a successful stint at the Olympics. Four of them have managed to get silver medals, being crowned runner-ups. With the arrival of Reyes, Rudy, Llull and Rodríguez, as well as Pocius, who was also in London, Pablo Laso is only missing Jaycee Carroll, who is still playing the Eurobasket qualifying rounds with Azerbaijan. These add to two new players, Draper and Slaugther, and Suárez and Mirotic, who began preparation last week.
Next Friday the Whites will go to Malaga where they will play the first tournament of the pre-season, the Costa del Sol tournament, facing KK Cibona on the 31st and Unicaja de Málaga on the 1st of September.
