Ángel di María has started this pre-season full of energy. At the game against Oviedo, he came on the pitch early in the second half and boosted the Real Madrid attack, scoring the last two goals. “I am very pleased, it’s early in the pre-season and we’re pleased to be getting off on the right foot. Winning the first match was key to gaining more confidence and we have achieved this”, he explained after the match.
In his third season as a Real Madrid player, Di María is keen to try to win as many titles as possible: “Our aim for this year includes the three competitions, so we hope we can win all three of them”. As a player, I’m certain about one thing: “I hope I can continue to develop, achieve my aims and to have a positive, injury-free season”. When asked about Modric, he was unequivocal: “He is very good, I hope he comes to Real Madrid. We must each do our bit to achieve major aims”. Lastly, he assured us that Kaká "is doing very well these days and seems very enthusiastic, and his future here will be decided by the club and him".
