The Escuela de Estudios Universitarios Real Madrid-Universidad Europea de Madrid has developed Europe's first official Masters in Sports Marketing, which will take its first intake next October. Representatives from renown businesses in the field of sport marketing such as the NBA, FIFA, Real Madrid, Adidas, Nike, Kia, Orange and Mahou will be participate in the masters.
The Masters in Sports Marketing, the first in Europe, will run between October 2012 and June 2013 in the La Moraleja campus of the Universidad Europea de Madrid and will include occasional activities in the Santiago Bernabéu and Valdebebas. Furthermore, it will give students the opportunity to do internships with the Whites.
With professors who represent renown, pioneering sports marketing businesses, such as NBA, FIFA and Real Madrid itself, the students will analyse sport as a marketing strategy, the exploitation of its impact in conventional and new media and the importance of social networks as an essential tool for the success of any campaign.
The Escuela de Estudios Universitarios Real Madrid-Universidad Europea de Madrid offers over 30 postgraduate programmes, 13 of which are taught in the installations that the school has in Madrid, in the Universidad Europea de Madrid's Campus de Villaviciosa de Odón and La Moraleja, as well as in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium and the Ciudad Deportiva del Real Madrid. The next academic year will offer other outstanding innovations such as the University Masters in Sports and Entertainment Management and the Expert Course in Sports Intermediation - FIFA Agent.
