Samsung Electronics Spain and Real Madrid C.F. have signed an agreement to launch the MyMadrid app worldwide, which will be exclusive to Android tablets. The act was attended by Director of Institutional Relations Emilio Butragueño and Samsung Spain Telecom Division Director Celestino Garcia.
With this initiative, Real Madrid shows its support for innovation and opens itself up to its supporters through new media. The MyMadrid app had previously only been available on Smartphones and Samsung Smart TVs; this new launch is yet another example of the close partnership between both entities.
The app will be available in Spanish and English for free exclusively to Galaxy Tab users until 31 July 2012 at the Samsung Apps store.
MyMadrid offers Madridistas free access to a wide array of exclusive content about the club, such as live results, stats, player profiles, etc. It also gives them the chance to interact in a community.
The app includes access to the official online Real Madrid store and will have a paying premium version with 24 hour access to RealmadridTV and videos with highlights of the team's UEFA Champions League matches.
