Jose Mourinho once again involved Castilla midfielder Casemiro.
Jose Mourinho continued preparations for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park. The Portuguese coach divided the players available into three groups. In the first, alongside assistant coach Rui Faria, Morata, who played the whole match yesterday with the reserves against Mirandes, and nine of the outfield players that started in Saturday's win against Betis trained. Along with the academy player, Benzema, who joined the group, Ozil, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nacho, Carvalho, Callejon, Albiol, Casemiro and Varane completed a recovery session.
In the second group, the other outfield players trained at a higher intensity. Casillas, Adan and Jesus trained on specifics under the orders of goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro, while Diego Lopez joined the training out on the turf at Real Madrid’s Football City. Arbeloa and Essien also took to the field and trained separately, in a session that included some ball exercises.
