Mirotic: "We gave it all in each of the five games and it was a shame not to finish off the series in Madrid"

Real Madrid players talked to the press after losing to Barça in the fifth game of the final series.

Reyes
"We hold our heads high because we played a great final. We gave our all, but we lacked the necessary luck to finish the series off. We lost the first game despite dominating it and we lost two more that were very even."

Carroll
"We feel bad about it. It's sad. We had chances to win each game, but we lost here tonight for failing to grab more rebounds."

Tomic
"We didn't play like in the first and second games. I think we lost the chance to win the title in Games 1 and 4."

Mirotic
"We gave it all in each of the five games and it was a shame not to finish off the series in Madrid. We knew tonight's game would be totally different and they won in the end, but we fought hard throughout the encounter. Small defensive details determined the outcome. We should have passed the ball better in offence in some instances. We didn't play that well overall and those small things are what make you lose this sort of game."
