The Portuguese players Pepe, Coentrão and Cristiano Ronaldo will play for their nation against Luxembourg and Azerbaijan, which are also world cup qualifiers. Germany, with Kedhira and Özil, will play two qualifying matches against the Faroe Islands and Austria. Benzema’s France face Finland and Belarus, and Modric’s Croatia will play Macedonia and Belgium. Di María and Higuaín have been called up by Argentina for world cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Peru. Marcelo will play for Brazil in two friendly matches against South Africa and China. Varane will play for the French under 21s in a qualifying match for the 2013 European Championships against Slovakia and a friendly against Chile.
