Real Madrid has launched its official site in Indonesian. Madridistas from the fourth most populated country in the world (240 million) can now access exclusive content of the Best Club of the 20th Century in their own language. This is the fifth version of Realmadrid.com, the others being in Spanish, English, Arabic and Japanese.
Real Madrid and leading Indonesian media company Mahaka Media have announced their association for the creation, management and commercialisation of the Indonesian version of the club's official site: http://www.realmadrid.co.id. The site will carry real time news about the club, match info and results, player video interviews, press conferences, press relases, match dossiers, photographs of current and legendary Real Madrid players, and other exclusive tools for Indonesian users.
Real Madrid New Media Manager Pedro Duarte said "this deal with Mahaka Media enhances the expansion of our brand and fanbase outside Spain. We are particularly thrilled by giving such a large and diverse audience access to the Real Madrid website. We are conviced our alliance with Mahaka Media will allow us to enlarge our community in the near future."
Mahaka Media President Director Adrian Syarkawi added, "Football is the most popular sport in Indonesia and one of the universal sports that bring fans from all over the world together. This agreement will allow us to transmit the best of Real Madrid to Indonesian fans. We believe Real Madrid has a lot to say to its loyal fans here."
Susie Hatadji, Mahaka Media New Media Director, said "online media is growing fast in Indonesia and we have the honour of bringing Real Madrid CF closer to its fans. We are anxious to offer our resources and experience to Real Madrid's website."
